Latin American Smart Grid Forum

A platform for knowledge, networking, and business for the transformation of the electricity sector

Our origins
The Latin American Smart Grid Forum was born 19 years ago as a pioneering initiative dedicated to driving the sustainable evolution of smart energy grids in Latin America. Throughout its history, it has established itself as one of the main environments for debate, networking, and connection among the agents working on the transformation of the electricity sector.

Our evolution
Over almost two decades, the Forum has followed the technological, regulatory, and commercial changes in the sector. What began with a more concentrated focus on smart grids has expanded to a broader agenda, which today includes market opening, digitalization, connectivity, data, smart metering, flexibility, resilience, and new business models in utilities, infrastructure, buildings, and cities.

Our current role
Today, the Smart Grid Forum is a premium platform for knowledge, networking, and business.

More than just holding an annual meeting, the Forum works throughout the year stimulating the exchange of ideas, bringing stakeholders closer together, disseminating knowledge and experiences, and building a qualified agenda for the future of the electricity sector.

Our mission
To connect people, companies, and institutions around the transformation of the electricity sector and digital society, promoting an agenda oriented towards innovation, efficiency, resilience, accessibility, and consumer empowerment.
